Officially 4 weeks!

Well today is the official 4 week mark! WOW! How time flies! If the next four weeks go as quickly as the last, Adam will be out in no time! Adam had three sessions of therapy this morning and that was it. He did really well with them, but complained this afternoon that he was really sore and stiff. He said his left shoulder is really stiff, but they did a x-ray on Thursday and it showed that it was healing. I think he'll probably always have some pain related to that shoulder for a long while, if not a lifetime. But the doctor said if it continued to bother him that they would think about surgery at a later date, so it'll just depend on how it feels to him. He had quite a few visitors this afternoon, which was good for him. He's bored and wants to go home, says he'll mow any one's lawn as long as he can leave. Sadie and I had girls morning this morning and then she spent the afternoon with dad. She even took a nap on his bed! He's really going to miss her while he's gone. I hope that she doesn't forget how awesome of a father he is while he's gone. Just wanted to say thank you to the people of our community once again. I saw someone tonight that said that she'd been following the blog and was praying for him. I'm sorry I didn't catch your name, but thank you from the bottom of my heart! This community has been so great to us, and we will never forget what you've done for us!

  1. I am amazed at your strength Adam...both physical and mental. I think it's important to remember how fantastic your inner strength is! Keep up the good work! I always look forward to seeing new photos and reading all the amazing things you are accomplishing daily. You have been so lucky and there is a reason for all of this. You will do great things in Add-lanna (oh how I hope you pick up the accent if even for a bit) I just know it! Keep the faith. :) (Consider Skype to keep in touch with Sadie while in GA-it's FREE!)
